CHURCH ACTIVITIES

Fellowship Groups

Midweek Prayers

There are a number of Fellowship Groups that meet in people’s homes during the week.

A Fellowship Group is a place where you can explore your Christian faith a bit more – in addition to coming to church on Sunday.  It’s also a place where you can make friends.

At these informal and friendly groups people get together to study the bible, share a cuppa and enjoy each other’s company.  They meet every other week. There are evening groups and the Sunday Afternoon Fellowship Group.

Thursdays 11am-12pm
Every Thursday morning from 11am to 12pm church members come together to pray for the concerns and joys surrounding our personal lives, the lives of congregation members, and others throughout our world.

Group prayer is a wonderful way to come together and be in a supportive Christian community. All are welcome.

Lea Road Lunch

Once a month after our morning service there is a cooked lunch for anyone who wants to attend.  This is a great opportunity for our community to come together to share food and fellowship.

Oxfam Lunch

Once a month after our morning service there is a simple lunch of soup and bread and the opportunity to make a donation to the work of Oxfam.  We have been doing this as a way of expressing solidarity with the world’s poor since the early 1960’s.
